Ahead of its impending release in a few days, Microsoft has revealed the launch trailer for Ori and the Blind Forest. No words are spoken in the trailer. Instead, the gorgeous visuals do all the talking, transporting you into the world which Ori must traverse. The opening moments evoke a more quiet, magical tone until the music switches gears and the action ramps up showcasing the many dangerous perils present in the game. Watch below and see if you don’t find yourself humming the tune that bookends the trailer.
The platform adventure title will be available on March 11th for the Xbox One and PC. A Xbox 360 version of the game is scheduled for later in the year.
I currently do not own an Xbox One, but Ori and the Blind Forest makes me wish I did. The visuals alone immediately grab me and I enjoy a good platform experience. Microsoft was wise to nab the exclusive rights for this title developed by Moon Studios.
