Mortal Kombat X Delayed On Last Gen Consoles

In unfortunate news for last generation console owners, Mortal Kombat X has been delayed.  Confirmed by IGN, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners will have to wait a little while longer to get their hands on the upcoming fighter.  No official date has been revealed, but publisher Warner Bros stated it will be available sometime this summer.  The PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game are still scheduled for release on April 14th.

My Opinion:

Mortal Kombat X is easily one of my most anticipated games coming out this year.  It’s the main reason I recently decided to purchase a PS4.  I feel for PS3 or Xbox 360 owners who were looking forward to playing the game as much as I am.  With the newer systems having been out for over a year now, cross-generational titles will all but soon fade away.  Those affected by the delay might want to consider saving up for a new console, if they want to play all the latest releases.
