For those pining over an F-Zero release, we have good news. Nintendo is hoping to bring over the fast-paced gameplay in Mario Kart 8’s new 200cc Mode.
Typically, every game in the Mario Kart series has had only three speed options: 50cc (beginner play), 100cc (intermediate play), and 150cc (difficult play). With the addition of 200cc, players will be able to zoom through every map in ways never experienced. More importantly, the new mode will be available for free in an update on April 23rd.

My Opinion:
This Nintendo Direct had some killer news, but 200cc mode absolutely blew me away. Mario Kart 8 is undeniably one of the leading games on the Wii U and this is another reason to jump right back in.
