PlayStation Plus Games for June 2015

It’s that time of the month again, when the PlayStation fairy comes by to show us its offerings, and for June, the PlayStation Plus games are sweet.

Starting with the PlayStation 4, the major game being added this month is Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. The prologue to the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, this small open-world stealth game sees players take up the mantle of Solid Snake as it showcases the potential of what The Phantom Pain will give us in terms of graphics and gameplay.

Joining Metal Gear Solid is a turn-based strategy game in Skulls of the Shogun: Bone-a-fide Edition. While the base game has a 15-hour campaign and 30 multiplayer maps, the Bone-a-fide Edition includes an additional small campaign as well as a new class of monk and six more multiplayer maps. This hand-drawn, classic samurai-inspired game has no lack of content for players who dares to dive in.

For those who want their strategy a little more cuddly, both the PS4 and Vita will be getting Super Exploding Zoo. In Super Exploding Zoo, you defend a group of animal eggs from hungry aliens with an army of exploding animals.

The PS4 and Vita will also be getting Futuridium EP Deluxe, a retro-looking shooter with a bit of puzzle game thrown in with a heavy dose of electronic music.

PlayStation 3 owners need not fret, as they will also be getting great games, including Call of Juarez: Gunslinger. A return to form for the Call of Juarez franchise, this game features a bounty hunter that can dual wield pistols in slow motion in the old west. Luckily, this bounty hunter is the protagonist, so the action is yours.

Lastly, the final game in this month’s lineup is Cloudberry Kingdom, a fun 2D platformer with 20 arcade modes and four-player co-op. This game is perfect for those who want some hardcore platforming action.

Don’t forget to get last month’s games before June 2nd, when the store is refreshed.

My Opinion:

I like that Ground Zeroes is being offered, so I’ll be able to experience it. I am also really excited for Skulls of the Shogun and Futuridium EP Deluxe. Overall, this month’s games are amazing. What will you be picking up?
