Sword Art Online Coming to PlayStation 4 in the West

Bandai Namco will be releasing Sword Art Online: Lost Song and Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment on the PlayStation 4, this summer.

After previous attempts with localization of Sword Art Online games and many fan complaints, Lost Song and Hollow Fragment will be released in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish.

Hollow Fragment will be released in the West as a “Director’s Cut” edition named, Sword Art Online RE: Hollow Fragment”. It will be completely digital whereas Lost Song will have a retail release in Europe.

Saves from PlayStation Vita versions of the games will be transferable, to a degree, and all DLC will be available at launch.

My Opinion:

Although I’ve not played Sword Art Online nor read the light novel, I’m glad to see it being localized in the West. I will certainly check it out now that there’s more available here.
