Dive Into The World Of Submerged This August

Few bonds in life can be as powerful as the one shared between siblings. Often times your brother or sister might be the only person in the world you have to laugh, cry, love, or survive with.  So what happens when someone you deeply care about is dying and you are the only one who can save them?

That is the predicament where Miku finds herself in Submerged, arriving on PlayStation 4, August 4th.  Miku is a young girl who must explore a mysterious flooded city.  She must use her fishing boat to navigate her environment, scaling enormous buildings in search of supplies to save her brother.  Using Unreal Engine 4, Submerged comes from Uppercut Games and has already received accolades for its musical score provided by BAFTA Award Winner Jeff Van Dyck.

As a special bonus to PS+ subscribers, Submerged can be purchased at a 20% discount for a limited time when it launches.  Watch the trailer below to see if you are ready to dive into the mysterious world of Submerged.

My Opinion:

From watching the gameplay trailer, I am impressed by some of the water and lighting effects.  I also like the idea that Submerged is a third person combat free game.  It should allow the developers to really fine tune the exploration present in the game.  It also adds to the mysteriousness of the flooded city, where Miku and her brother appear to be the only humans present.
