Firaxis has some bad news for eagerly anticipating XCOM 2.

XCOM 2 was revealed in June and a November 2015 release date was announced. Today, the developer has pushed the release date back to February 5, 2016. No specific reason for the delay was given, but a post on their website says they “…[needed] a little more time to make it the best possible game.”

As of now, XCOM 2 will release next year exclusively on PC.

My Opinion:

This is just speculation, but pushing a game back that was just revealed makes it seem like the November release window was a pipe dream. Whatever the case may be, let’s hope that XCOM 2 is even better than the last one.
