Microsoft Offers Gamers a Chance to Kinect at a Lower Price

As the holiday season approaches, not only are turkey & dressing and Christmas cookies on the horizon, so too are holiday sales.  Sony just recently cut the price of the PS4 in North America and now Microsoft is doing some price slashing of its own.

Microsoft has announced the standalone version of Kinect is dropping in price to $99.  In addition the Xbox One Kinect bundle which includes a 500 GB console and three games (Dance Central Spotlight, Kinect Sports Rivals, Zoo Tycoon) is now $399.  These prices are being advertised as a limited time promotional offer.  If you are looking to Kinect with all of the Xbox One’s features, now might be the time to act.

My Opinion:

It seems like such a long time ago that Kinect was considered a big deal.  I can’t remember the last game that was praised for utilizing it in a truly unique way.  While it is being billed as a limited price reduction, it wouldn’t shock me if it became permanent.
