In a case of good news, bad news, developer Roll7 has news on the console release of 2D shooter Not A Hero. The good news is the game will release soon on the PlayStation 4, February 2nd to be exact through the PlayStation Network for $13. The bad news is the PlayStation Vita port of the title is no longer a reality, as development for the platform has ceased due to a number of technical reasons.
While bringing the game over to PS4 hasn’t been easy for the small development team of Roll7, the PlayStation 4 community can experience the violent wonder of Bunnylord in a matter of weeks. To check out how MONG felt about Not A Hero on PC, check out the review here.
My Opinion:
As a proud Vita owner, it is a bit disappointing whenever an announced game is canceled for the system. Yet, I can empathise with the developers explanation for not being able to bring the game over, and if I want to play the game I can do so soon on my PS4.
