The release of Nioh has been more than ten years in the making and now in 2016 the game will finally be released on the PlayStation 4. While an exact release date hasn’t been revealed, news from the PS Blog details when gamers can test out the title.
A demo for Nioh titled Alpha Demo will be available for a limited time, April 26th through May 5th. The Alpha Demo gives gamers a glimpse into Team Ninja’s epic samurai action and allows the developer to receive feedback on the gameplay experience through an online survey.
In addition, any player who can clear a stage in the Alpha Demo can download The Mark of the Conqueror DLC, which grants access to special DLC in the full game release. To see what’s in store when the demo launches later this month, watch the announcement trailer below.
I’ve been interested in this game since seeing it at PSX last year. The combat looks cool, from the various weapons and different animal summons the main character wields. I look forward to playing the demo later this month.
