During Sunday night’s Fear The Walking Dead, Microsoft released a new cinematic trailer to the next game in one of their flagship titles, Gears of War 4.

The trailer shows two different timelines of events. One has Marcus Fenix, the main character in the original trilogy, and his family planting trees. The other is set years later while Marcus Fenix’s son, JD Fenix, runs home during an attack from a new enemy.

Gears of War 4 will arrive exclusively to Xbox One on October 11th, 2016.

Opinion:

Gears of War is one of my favorite Xbox franchises, but because I don’t have an Xbox One, I may have to wait. While there is no gameplay footage in the trailer, it’s very likely that there will be a new gameplay demo at Xbox’s Press Conference at E3 this year.
