Following the trends of The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddess and Video Games Live, Kingdom Hearts Orchestra – World Tour is planned for 2017.

The first official symphonic concert of Kingdom Hearts will start its world tour in Tokyo on March 10, 2017. From there, the tour will continue around the world from Paris, to Singapore, to New York, and more. The concert will host over 70 musicians and cinematics to fully immerse all participants in the event. Music will also draw from Kingdom Hearts I and II, along with all the spin-off games.

Yoko Shimomura, Composer for the Kingdom Hearts series, is quoted stating the following in regards to the excitement for the concert,
“When I began composing for the Kingdom Hearts series, I couldn’t even dream this day would come. But it has, thanks to our beloved fans. This concert and the music of Kingdom Hearts could not have existed without their undying support. I can’t thank them enough. The concert will encompass my feelings toward the series and those dear to me around the world.

My Opinion:
This is awesome! I’m loving the uprising of classical orchestra symphonies again, but with a wonderful new-aged spin. I’m excitedly and patiently waiting for May 14th so I can order my tickets for New York. Hope to see you there!
Would love to be able to go to this.
