Trophies for Ape Escape 2 have surfaced, suggesting that the platformer could be the next PlayStation 2 classic to make its way over to the PlayStation 4
Appearing on Exophase, the full list consists of 14 trophies: 11 bronze, 2 silver, and 1 gold. At the moment there is no clear indication of when the game may release — but usually in these instances the game is right around the corner.
Ape Escape 2 first released on PS2 back in 2003. Upon release it garnered an 83 on Metacritic, being praised for its great game design and its addictive nature.
What is Ape Escape 2?
“Ape Escape 2 is all about no-holds barred expansive gaming – with 20 stages to navigate and 8 boss fight stages as well as second and third playthrough, this game will keep you playing well into the wee small hours! With so many monkeys gone mad, heavy artillery is Hikaru’s only chance of saving the planet. As such you get to try out a feast of gadgetry – 12 items in total – to try and catch the ape anarchists. Think weird and wacky – The Banana Boomerang and the Radio Controlled Car are just a few of the Professor’s spectacular creations.”
My Opinion:
I never played any of the Ape Escape games back in the day, therefore, this is an exciting opportunity to play a classic. After all I like collecting monkeys as much as the next guy.
