The next title from the developers of open-world stealth game, Sir, You are Being Hunted, has been announced.
A description of the game reads:
“Tölva is set in a future where AI factions have abandoned humankind and set out on obsessive quest to uncover the secrets of a long-dead civilization. There are starships, there is an interplanetary internet, and there is something very, very wrong with the planet called Tölva.”
In the game you have remotely hijacked a robot called a “Surveyor” in order to track down a mysterious signal coming from Tölva. On your hunt you will encounter “intense gunfights” with other robots and battle for territory. As a result you will be inevitably hopping from one humanoid drone to another, as each one is destroyed. Unlike the developer’s previous game, The Signal From Tölva will not have a procedurally generated world, but rather one built from scratch and that is 4X larger.
The Signal from Tölva is set to release sometime in 2017. There is currently no word on a console release.

It looks a little dated, and overly ambitious given the developer. However, it has intrigued me enough that I will be keeping a close eye on it as it goes through development.
