Sega has revealed nine new characters for Yakuza 6.

The news, which comes from the latest issue of Famitsu, reveals a whopping nine new characters that you will encounter in Hiroshima. No footage of the new characters was revealed, but Sega has said they will be shown off on Sega’s Sega-Nama live stream on August 23rd. Meanwhile, short descriptions for each character was provided:

Note: names were written in ‘Kanji’, so they may not be 100% accurate.

Takaaki Matsunaga

A member of the Hirose family. Appears stern, but goes at his own pace.

Naoto Tagashira

A young man belonging to the Hirose family. Easygoing, yet savvy.

Kazuaki Iino

Has a strong relationship with Nagumo Tsuyoshi of the  Hirose family. Shows affection for Kiyomi, but she is not interested.

Katsumi Sugai

Leader of the Tojo Clan’s Sugai group. Cunning man who may have had some involvement with the the Asia District fire.

Hyozo Iwaomi

Based in Hiroshima, owner of a global-scale shipbuilding company. He is old, but dignified.

Kanji Koshimizu

Himei Association henchmen leader. Fighter thirsty for fights to the death.

Koji Masuzoe

Boss of the Himei Association’s Masuzoe Group. Has a strict appearance and wild behavior. Feared by his subordinates.

Big Rou

Leader of the Chinese mafia. Taking advantage of the big fire, he started a full-blown invasion of Kamurochou.

Han Jungi

Jingweon clan leader (Korean mafia). Was driven into a state of despair by Kiyru in the past.

Yakuza 6 is set to release on December 8, 2016 in Japan. A western release, at this time, hasn’t been confirmed.
