Get ready to break out those Vitas and PlayStation 3s: XSEED has revealed that The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II is coming to North America on September 6th.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II will be available on both PS3 and Vita at the price point of $39.99. It will be available later in the fall for European players, though no specific release date was revealed. The game originally released in Japan back in 2014.
Cross-save functionality between both available platforms will be supported. Additionally, save data from the original title The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel will also be supported, with an offering of special in-game bonus stats and extra items.
The third game in the series, Trails in the Sky has been announced for a 2017 western release as well, but no details on specifically when, or what platforms it will come to have been provided.
My Opinion:
This is one series that has been high on my bucket list for awhile, as I’ve heard nothing but great things about it. Sadly, I have no clue when I’ll have time to get around it. Meh, at least I can still get excited at the prospect of playing it. Which is the case with a lot of games these days.
