Rocket League hits 20 million player milestone

Information for your benefit: that’s nearly double the population of Portugal.

Psyonix has announced that Rocket League has reached the coveted “Baller Status” in the video game world: 20 million players. Something that is pretty rare in the industry.

Just one month ago Psyonix announced Rocket League had reached the 19 million mark. Which means just in the last month it saw growth of around 1 million players — an impressive number when you figure in that the game has been out for a over a year.

Recent games to pass the 20 million players mark includes, but is not limited to, Destiny, HearthStone, and SMITE.

My Opinion:

If you’re not one of these 20 million…
