No Goblin has announced today that 100ft Robot Golf will be coming to PlayStation 4 on October 10th.
Compatible with PlayStation VR, 100ft Robot Golf is literally what the title says : a golf game where you play as a huge 100ft robot that can also destroy cities…as he golfs. A dream come true right? The game includes up to four player couch co-op as well standard online play.
In addition to the release date announcement, No Goblin has also revealed a new robot: Project C. This giant robot is a special project robot put together by Team NGBL, a secret underground organization specializing in creating zany, unorthodox golfing robots. Whereas most robots have one or two pilots, Project C contains 5, and each is an adorable puppy. That’s not a joke. He is also the biggest robot in the game, standing at over 100 ft.
Project C has a special ability called Freesword, which activates a light-powered broadsword that can instantly cut a building in half. Because why not?
100ft Robot Golf arrives October 10th for PS4. A price point has yet to be revealed.
My Opinion:
If it’s not going to be a new Mario Golf, it might as well be 100ft Robot Golf. As long as the golf is actually decent, and not the gimmick in the game, this will be day-one pick up for me.
