CD Projekt Red has been ultra secretive about its upcoming RPG Cyberpunk 2077, but today the Poland-based developer revealed its getting a metric ton of resources thrown at it. How much? More than The Witcher 3 ever had.
In a recent investor relation Q&A session, IR Specialist Katarzyna Szulc assured that the game is coming along well. Further, Szulc mentioned that Cyberpunk 2077 currently has more developers working on it than The Witcher 3 ever did, even during its most intensive month of development. This news seems to corroborate with CD Projekt Red’s previous assertions that this will be its most ambitious game yet.
Cyberpunk 2077 currently has no release date.
My Opinion:
If more resources equates to Cyberpunk 2077 being comprised of the same incredible quality of The Witcher 3 — which is one of the best games of all time — but slightly better, then I’m pumped. I can’t imagine an RPG better than The Witcher 3.
