Bandai Namco Entertainment has released a new trailer for its flagship fighter.
The Tekken 7 Tokyo Game Show Trailer gets off to a dramatic start as father and son, Heihachi Mishima and Kazuya Mishima, duel amid a volcanic setting. The intense pace continues as much of the large roster of fighters is shown, from old favorites like Nina Williams and Paul Phoenix to newcomers like Master Raven and Katarina Alves.
Fittingly the action spotlights the now familiar battle between Heihachi and Street Fighter transplant Akuma. Not only is Akuma a crossover character, but he plays a pivotal role in Tekken 7’s story which closes out the Mishima family saga. Check out all the fighting action below and look for Tekken 7 when it releases early 2017 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
My Opinion:
It’s been awhile since I’ve played some Tekken, but I’m looking forward to the series console return. The early PS4 footage of the game I’ve seen isn’t looking so hot graphically. I’m hoping it will be polished a lot before the game releases to more resemble the arcade visuals.
