As the start of 2017 is in full swing, the old January lull is a thing of the past. Check out what some of the Middle of Nowhere Gaming crew is up to this weekend:
Harry Loizides, Editor in Chief: In my pursuit of catching up with my PlayStation 4 backlog, I am VERY excited to start Battlefield 1 and The Division. However, when I’m looking for a bit of a throwback, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3DS will scratch that itch.
Darius Purse, Executive Editor: Any free time I have for gaming I plan to check out the For Honor Beta. I’m not a big online gamer, so I’m curious if the gameplay will be fun enough to entice a possible purchase.
Adam Leonard, Senior Editor: I’ll be spending my weekend digging deeper into the weird and wonderful world of Yakuza 0. If I need a break from that, I’ll probably continue my casual playthrough of one of my favorites Bloodborne.
Chris Cobb, Associate Editor: I’ve finally become what I hate most — a mobile game-loving Millennial, and Star Wars: Force Arena is to blame! It’s an addiction. HELP. Besides that dirty little secret, I’m stumbling my way through Resident Evil 7 for an upcoming review. Stay tuned! Or, uh, y’know… bookmark the site, since this isn’t television. Heh…
Jesse Webster, Senior Writer: Double XP weekend for Uncharted 4 Survival. I’ll be playing that. I should be able to reach level 50 by the end of the weekend.
Jeremy Lelacheur, Associate Writer: First I’m heading up to the slopes for some snowboarding with my friend. Then coming back to hold my 3 month old niece and to wreak havoc in GTA 5 and Rainbow 6 Siege! I will also wrap up my first playthrough of the amazing Final Fantasy XV, and the absolutely gorgeous, and charming game that is Inside. Finally my girlfriend will probably drag me to a expensive chick flick…What? Surprised I have a girlfriend? Yea..well..me too.
Brett Williams, Associate Writer: After a busy week of work, Kingdom Hearts 2.8 is about to walk it’s oversized shoes into my life, and I couldn’t be more excited. In addition to finally getting around to doing some writing, I hope to finally move into the acceptance phase of mourning for the Steelers’s season. Maybe that’s why I’ve finally had the desire to play Limbo…
What games will you be playing this weekend?
