Nintendo Direct Coming This Week Focusing on ARMS and Splatoon 2

Eager to learn more about ARMS and Splatoon 2? Nintendo has you covered with a new Nintendo Direct this week.

On April 12 at 3:00 p.m.  PT/6:00 pm. ET, Nintendo will host another Nintendo Direct spotlighting both Switch games. Although the primary focus will be on ARMS and Splatoon 2, more information will be provided on both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS. You can check out the Presentation live on April 12 here.

It’s fitting that ARMS and Splatoon 2 are sharing the spotlight, as both give familiar game genres a colorful twist. ARMS takes fighting games, adds in the option of motion controls and sprinkles in arm extending characters like Springman and Ribbon Girl. Splatoon 2 takes the team based shooter and replaces bullets with ink, allowing the gamer to create not carnage but color with weapons.

My Opinion:

It makes sense Nintendo would focus on those, considering they are the two biggest Nintendo Switch games coming, presumably in the next few months. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the big Switch game for April, but a lot is already known about that game.
