This morning, Ubisoft released a series of trailers announcing the latest game in their popular FPS series, Far Cry 5.
The announcement trailer shows life in the Montana countryside and a brief look into the villain, Joseph Seed. Joseph Seed is a leader of a religious cult set out to make everyone in Hope County part of his flock by any means necessary.
The character trailers reveals members of The Resistance that will help you take Father Joseph and his cult down. Mary May, an owner of a local bar. Father Jerome Jeffries, a preacher. Nick Rye, a pilot.
For the first time in the series you can finally customize your character and the entire game can be played by co-op.
Far Cry 5 is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC and it is expected to arrive on February 27, 2018
My Opinion:
I love the Far Cry games so seeing a new one makes me happy. The setting and themes on display is fascinating and I hope they follow through with it. It’s not much to go on, but what I’ve seen so far has me excited.
