The latest trailer for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is short in length, but heavy in atmosphere.

Titled “Hela”, the trailer focuses on the core concept at the heart of Hellblade – Senua’s mind. The visions & voices she sees and her struggles with mental illness look to be a major component of the game. For Senua, hell isn’t some place you wind up in after death, but a living nightmare she must battle against.

Check out the trailer below and look for Hellblade when it launches Aug 9th for PlayStation 4 and PC.

 

 

My Opinion:

Very effective trailer by Ninja Theory in selling the atmosphere of the game. Hellblade looks great visually and the creature that approached Senua in the trailer looked terrifying.
