Developer Bloober Team follows up it’s last title Layers of Fear with another game seeking to disturb, Observer.

In the year 2084, police are corporately funded with the ability to hack into suspects minds. You play as Daniel Lazarski, an elite neural detective known as an “Observer.” Such power is not without its drawbacks. Exploring the minds of criminals and victims becomes a recipe for psychological horror.

Observer releases August 15th for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

 

My Opinion:

I’m digging the cyberpunk aesthetic of Observer from the trailer. The visuals immediately draw comparisons to Blade Runner, so getting one of the stars of the film, Rutger Hauer, to portray the main character is a nice scoop by the developers.
