Even though the Switch version arrived nearly a year later after the games initial release, physical and digital sales have topped 500,00 copies worldwide. Xenoverse 2 is even experiencing a shortage of stock in Japan with more copies shipping in February.
Those are impressive numbers and illustrate two things to me, the continued popularity of DBZ and Switch owner’s hunger for games on their new system. Many 3rd parties who hopped on the system early are benefiting greatly. Now the fan demand for a Dragon Ball FighterZ port to Switch will only intensify.
