It seems that last year’s award-winning game, The Last of Us, is coming to the PlayStation 4.
The critically acclaimed Naughty Dog game that was confined to the PS3 seems to be coming to the PS4, if Sercan Sulun, PlayStation’s Eurasian Software Market Manager, is to be believed. In an interview, he said, “There is no information about a new The Last of Us game but I can share this knowledge; as of this summer, The Last of Us will be on the PS4. Both on PSN and physically.” He also said that the DLC, The Last of Us: Left Behind, would also be coming over with it.
This means that The Last of Us will not only be experienced on the PlayStation 4 via PlayStation Now, but as physical discs and digital copies.
My Opinion
Don’t I remember hearing about a PS4 version of The Last of Us not coming? I believe I did. So this is odd that I see this news now. Sony may have to officially confirm it, but I sense that even though Naughty Dog wanted this to stay on the PS3 as a swan song to the last generation console, Sony may have made them push this game out. However, if it does, I will be super excited and will definitely get it once it comes out. I have not played The Last of Us, and seeing that it is getting almost every single Game of the Year honor, I am obviously missing out on the fun and the action (or lack thereof) of The Last of Us.
