No Player-to-Player Trading at Launch
In an interview with IGN, Tyson Green, lead player investment designer at Bungie said, “We’re really excited about creating a player economy. This is going to be a game that the community really drives, but for launch we’re going to be restricting it to trading items between your own characters.”
Bungie is still working on figuring out the “security situation for both our systems and all platforms” as well as how the economy works. Hopefully it won’t be long before Player-to-Player trading is enabled!
Bungie is interested is Cross-Generation Saves
According to an interview with IGN, Bungie is interested in supporting saves across generations. This means that if you buy Destiny for PS3/Xbox360 and then upgrade, you will keep your character and save data. While they didn’t guarantee it, it sure sounds like they are working on it.
