Remember the studio Dontnod? Well, the minds behind the underwhelming game Remember Me is set to work with Square Enix.
According to Gamasutra, the studio has been working with Square Enix despite Dontnod filing for restructuring in France. The two studios are set to be collaborating on a new game.
“It’s a twist on traditional story-driven games and we can’t wait to share more with you soon,” said Dontnod CEO Oskar Guilbert. Lee Singleton of Square Enix added, “I’ve known Oskar and some of the team at Dontnod for quite a while now. They’re very talented so they’ve been on my list of studios I’d like to work with but we’ve never found the right game until now.”
My Opinion:
Remember Me, despite having problems, still had great ideas that was only hindered by gameplay. Having Remember Me on a Square Enix scope would be amazing. I am excited to see what this could grow into. Maybe a Remember Me 2?
