The room goes dark. Astronauts are traversing Mars, and suddenly they come across a large white object in the sky. Then the name appears, “Destiny”.

It looks as though there will be a floating computer that accompanies the player who resembles Wheatley from Portal 2, narrating and explaining the lore behind the war torn Earth and the mystery surrounding the “Light of the Traveler”.
A few new enemies were shown, including a mech spider!
Following the trailer of Destiny, Andrew House, President and CEO of Sony, took the stage. He explained, “Destiny will help define this next generation of games”. He also stated that Destiny will be coming first to the PS4, and announced the beta, which will be starting on July 17th for PlayStation users, as to when this beta will be available for Xbox One users is currently unknown.
Before House left the stage, he dropped two more bombshells for the audience while saying, “Destiny isn’t just good on PS4, it’s better”. The first being that the Destiny alpha will be available exclusively for PS4 users, further details can be seen here, www.greatnessawaits.com/Destiny
The second bombshell being that Destiny and a white 500gb PS4 will be bundled together, along with 30 days of PS+, available September 9th.
Later in the conference it was also revealed that Destiny will come with exclusive content for PS4 users, including things such as weapon skins and maps.
My Opinion:
Destiny is one of my most anticipated games within this upcoming year and thankfully E3 has given us some unseen footage. I was worried for a little while because we had only seen Old Russia for the longest time, but this new trailer was refreshing and rejuvenated by excitement. I think I’m going to sit out the alpha and beta only because I want to experience the game in it’s full glory and completion. There is no doubt in my mind that Destiny truly will be one of best game of the foreseeable future.
