Walmart has been emailing customers to let them know that they are cancelling their pre-orders of Destiny Ghost Edition because of a supply shortage.  

NeoGAF provided a screencap of the email (below), which shows that Walmart is offering to change their pre-orders to the Destiny Limited Edition instead.

We will have an update when more information about the supply shortages is revealed.

My Opinion:

This really sucks.  I feel bad for those who decided to go through Walmart to get theirs.  I am curious to find out if there was some sort of production snag they hit or if this is Walmart’s fault.  Hopefully we find out soon.
