The Swapper is Heading to Wii U

The Swapper by Facepalm Games will be making its way to Wii U this November, according to Curve Digital’s Twitter.

While the tweet references a vague timeframe, they later linked to a Kotaku UK article with gave a little more detail.

Beyond the release date, the article mentions that The Swapper will have the option of utilizing the GamePad’s touch screen to make “swaps”, along with normal analog controls.

The Swapper was released last year on PC, and will be releasing August 5th on PlayStation consoles for $19.99. For more info on the body-snatching indie title, make sure to check the MONG review.

My Opinion:

People like to trash the Wii U’s line up, but people have to respect the awesome indie scene. Sure, it may not be as diverse as the PlayStation 4, but there are some really fantastic titles in the near future. The Swapper has been one of my favorite titles this year and I will be more than happy to plunk down another $20 for the instant classic.
