High Moon Studios Developing Last-Gen Versions of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

Sledgehammer Games revealed to Game Informer that High Moon Studios is developing the last-gen version of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

The two studios are working hand in hand in order to create parity between the two experiences, however Sledgehammer Game’s priorities lie in the Xbox One, PS4, and PC versions.

“Our focus is on innovation for the franchise, unrestricted by last generation hardware constraints,” said Glen Schofield and Michael Condrey, the co-founders of Sledgehammer Games.

High Moon Studios released Deadpool last year and Transformers: War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron before that.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare hits November 4, 2014 on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.

My Opinion:

High Moon Studios seems like a good choice to handle the last gen versions of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.  Hopefully they won’t get trapped in the Call of Duty development cycle though, because they do interesting things with existing properties like Transformers and Deadpool.
