Yesterday, Ubisoft released their newest game to the Assassin’s Creed family – Assassin’s Creed: Memories for iOS systems.
Assassin’s Creed: Memories is a card-battling game that places an army you build (through cards) against other players online or with giant 20 versus 20 online guild battles (similar to Clash of Clans’ Clan Wars).
The free-to-play game takes players across several eras featured in other Assassin’s Creed games as well as Feudal Japan and Imperial Mongolia.
My Opinion:
I think this is an interesting change of pace from Ubisoft to do with the franchise. It’s nice to see them taking risks in a solidified franchise. Whether or not Ubisoft explores the new worlds of Feudal Japan and Imperial Mongolia more in depth is yet unknown, but hey, at least they’re not making the series stale…yet.
