Assassin’s Creed Unity Gets Season Pass

The upcoming current gen Assassin’s Creed game, Unity, will be getting a season pass for downloadable content. Unlike in most games, the DLC in Assassin’s Creed Unity seems like it will be developed by another team at Ubisoft. There will be three major DLC available to season pass holders.

Assassin’s Creed: Dead Kings – Takes place shortly after the events of Assassin’s Creed Unity and it takes place at Saint-Denis in 1794. It will have new areas, new enemy types, labyrinths, weapons, and it will be the darkest story in Assassin’s Creed’s history.

Three Extra Missions – These missions will expand on Paris and they are “The American Prisoner,” “Killed by Science”, and “Chemical Revolution.” In addition to the three missions, there will be over 30 new items to collect to further customizing your character.

Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China – This is a DLC that is basically a brand new, albet smaller, game. The game stars Shao Jun, a female chinese assassin in 16th century China. It will be a 2.5D action platformer. It’s unlike anything that Assassin’s Creed has ever done.

Ubisoft has promised that there is more content for the season pass in the works. Assassin’s Creed Unity will be released on November 11th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

My Opinion:

I wasn’t really feeling this season pass until I saw Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China. That alone has the potential to make the season pass worth it. I may have fallen off the Assassin’s Creed train, but Unity actually looks good.
