CD Projekt Red, developers of the anticipated game, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, have released a developer diary. In the video, they elaborate on the complex and intricate world of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, discussing its vast open world, the countless side quests and the myriad of monsters that will require knowledge, preparation and determination to defeat.
The developer diary also discusses the detail and immersion they have included in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. They claim that one way to achieve that is through the NPCs (Non-Playable Characters) that roam around in Novigrad.
The developers mention several other ways of obtaining player immersion in the trailer below.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on February 24th next year. Unfortunately for Wii U owners, CD Projekt Red has no plans to port the game over to their system.
I don’t generally enjoy developer diaries as they all tend to be a bit cheesy but this one intrigued me. Despite it being cheesy, I am extremely excited for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. So even if this content was noticeably scripted and contained ‘money shots’, I still want to soak up every little detail of this RPG.
