D4, the off-the-wall Xbox One exclusive, will “never” come to PlayStation 4.

Hidetaka Suehiro, more commonly known among the gaming community as Swery, responded to a Twitter question saying a PS4 version will “never” happen.  However, a PC version was not ruled out.

D4 stands for “Dark Dreams Don’t Die,” and it is an episodic mystery game from the creator of Deadly Premonition.  Episode One is now available on Xbox One after a surprise launch at TGS this year.

My Opinion:

It is a shame that D4 isn’t coming to PS4, because it would most likely find a lot more success on the Sony platform.  As for PC, I have a feeling we will see it there at some point in the future.
