Super Smash Bros. On The Wii U Gets A Date

Super Smash Bros. On The Wii U Gets A Date

Today is the day many of us has been waiting for.  Nintendo just announced that Super Smash Bros. for Wii U will be releasing this year as promised.  The game will be available in North America on November 21st, Europe on December 5th and in Australia on December 6th.

This was a pleasant announcement after Nintendo shared news on the sales figures for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, which has sold 2.8 million units worldwide.  To make things even better Nintendo announced the GameCube controller adapter will support the wireless WaveBird controllers.  This adapter is priced at $19.99 USD.

My Opinion:

Yes!  With the 3DS version released over the past weekend, I have been itching for some Smash.  I was debating on picking up a 3DS just for the title because I wasn’t sure when the Wii U version would come out.  Waking up to announcement was fantastic news.  Nintendo just sold themselves another Wii U and I will be eagerly waiting for Nov. 21 to play this great game.  Are you picking this up?  Could this be the game that sells Wii U’s this holiday season?
