Earlier this week, Bandai Namco announced that a new Sword Art Online game is headed to PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita next year.
Titled Sword Art Online: Lost Song, the game will be an action RPG set in Alfheim Online and takes place after season one of the anime. Alfheim Online is the second of two MMORPGs that the anime takes place in.

Sword Art Online: Lost Song is currently only scheduled to release in Japan next year. Currently there is no news about whether or not it will ever make its way west.
My Opinion:
It’s good to see that Sword Art Online is popular enough to continue getting games, as I really enjoyed the anime. However, I am curious as to when Japanese developers are going to make the jump and start putting more of these JRPGs on PlayStation 4. I know that the PS4 has not sold “great” in Japan, but it’s a vicious circle that will never be resolved if they continue to avoid putting games on it.
