Now, after three years of silence regarding Free Radical’s version of Star Wars: Battlefront III, 30 minutes of gameplay has been leaked. The videos below show a pre-alpha build of the game.

EA and DICE are now working on a Star Wars: Battlefront game. Their version will use the Frostbite game engine for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It’s unknown when the game will be released, but DICE has said that they are still early in development. Their version of Battlefront will be set during the original film trilogy.

I tried to play Star Wars: Battlefront for the original Xbox, but I just couldn’t get into it. What Free Radical had seems to be the same game. Do keep in mind though, the footage was taken in a very early stage of development and it would have been improved on. I do have to wonder what DICE’s version of Battlefront will be like.
