Turtle Rock Studios announced on Sunday via Twitter that the Evolve Big Alpha has been extended to Tuesday, November 4th on all platforms.
This announcement comes on the heels of the Big Alpha being delayed on PlayStation 4 due to compatibility issues with the latest system update.
Evolve is scheduled for release on February 10, 2015.
I am glad to see PlayStation 4 users finally getting some love regarding the Evolve Big Alpha. I do feel that it might have been nice to see them get their own weekend at this point, rather than tacked on couple of days. The Evolve Big Alpha has proven to be very enjoyable, despite some widespread connectivity issues. The biggest question I need answered between now and when Evolve finally drops is whether or not the game will offer enough diversity of gameplay to warrant it being a full retail release. Earlier this year, Titanfall released with a similar premise, a game that features rich online multiplayer, and only that, and suffered criticism for that. Can Evolve break that trend?
Adam Leonard is a new Associate Writer for MONG. At this point he is planning on picking up Evolve day 1. He is finally getting a little bit better at playing as the alien.
