Following its debut on the PlayStation 4 last month, Grand Theft Auto V finished November as the top seller on the PlayStation Store, PlayStation announced via its official blog on Thursday.
A trio of November releases follow the Rockstar epic in the listings, including Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Assassin’s Creed Unity and Far Cry 4, respectively. Minecraft: PlayStation 4 Edition rounds out the Top 5.
On the PlayStation 3 side, Advanced Warfare, Minecraft: PlayStation 3 Edition and FIFA 15 lead the way.
GTA V also topped the charts on PS3 in September and October of 2013. Over a year later in the most recent PS3 numbers, GTA V still holds strong at number 10.
The November list marks the first complete year for the PS4. On the inaugural compilation of monthly sales released last December, Call of Duty: Ghosts and Battlefield 4 led the way.

My Opinion:
There’s nothing too surprising about the November sales figures. It is cool to see how the frequent PlayStation Store sales affect the standings, with Far Cry 3 and Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning landing in the Top 10 for PS3 after price slashes during the month. Much like GTA V sticking around over a year later on PS3, I wouldn’t be shocked to see it in the Top 20 on PS4 in November 2015.
