New Sniper-Only Mode in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

Fancy yourself some sniping action in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare? If so, then the new sniper-only multiplayer mode will be right up your alley!

Sledgehammer Games announced One Shot, the new team-based multiplayer mode, in a community blog post. The new mode features sniper-only play with reduced health, as well as several highly-specific classes armed with various perks, scorestreaks, and Exo abilities. It’s available to play now for all players.

COD One Shot

The five new classes in One Shot are Hard Scope, Zoomed, 4X, Ace, and Irons. These classes have been tuned to test true sniper skill as there are no secondary weapons, only the MORS, a bolt-action railgun sniper. You’ll be able to party with up to five friends in this new mode.

MONG really enjoyed Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and thought it was “a fresh face for the stale franchise”. Read our full review here!

My Opinion:

More multiplayer modes is always a good thing! It’s nice to see a company support their game with new modes and other additions outside of the DLC you actually have to purchase. Call of Duty is popular for a reason, and I am sure a lot of that has to do with the support Activision and the developers give it post-release.

  1. Do we have many hardcore COD players out there? I am not one but I do enjoy some campaigns and co-op modes. I’ll have to get my hands on Advanced Warfare sometime because it looks really good.
