Rogue Legacy is Coming to Xbox One

Xbox One owners can finally storm the Rogue Legacy castle.

No release date has been set for Rogue Legacy on Xbox One, but a representative from Cellar Door Games told Polygon that it is “definitely coming this year.”

Rogue Legacy is a rogue-like platformer with unique twists on the genre. Players control a knight through a randomly-generated castle. When the knight succumbs to the castle’s monsters, a new heir takes his or her place. Each knight possesses different traits like nostalgic (turning the game sepia-toned), gigantism (makes your character humongous), and even irritable bowel syndrome (the hero farts unexpectedly).

Throughout the knight’s journey, the player collects gold that can be used to upgrade various traits and unlock new character classes. The ultimate goal is to destroy five bosses ruling the castles.

It is currently available on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita.

My Opinion:

Rogue Legacy is my favorite Vita game of 2014. I’m not sure how it translates to a larger screen but  it has a perfect home on the Vita. Xbox One players need to play this addicting game! Just don’t be scared off by the steep learning curve.
