In an update posted recently, the team at 343 Industries has announced that a new content patch is scheduled for release later this week.
The development team has stated that this latest patch will include various content updates including UI improvements and increased matchmaking stability. Several playlists, including Halo 4 and Team Hardcore, are also scheduled to make a return when the patch is released later this week. The team at 343 has also teased that, “Other fan favorite playlists are also in the works, including Team Snipers, Team Doubles, an objective-only playlist, and more.”
My Opinion:
These new playlists are long overdue for the game. As The Master Chief Collection currently stands, the multiplayer is severely suffers from a lack of variety in options for players to choose from. It is disappointing that it has taken this long for the team to successfully deal with the playlist issues, but that is to be expected considering the game’s more important matchmaking issues. Hopefully we will see many more playlists in the coming weeks.
