Resident Evil HD Breaks Sales Record

Capcom has announced via a press release that Resident Evil HD has become the ‘fastest selling’ digital game  across North America and Europe in Capcom’s history.

As part of the press release Capcom producer Yoshiaki Hirabyashi gave the following statement:

It’s been great to see so many positive comments from fans that have enjoyed this new release,” producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi said in a statement. “The team here at Capcom Japan have worked hard to bring the game to the latest generation of consoles and we are thrilled at this news on its performance.

Hirabyashi can also be seen in the below video thanking fans for their support.

Be sure to check out our review where we said “Resident Evil HD continues to be the pinnacle of survival horror genre.”

My Opinion:

I am happy to hear that Resident Evil HD is selling so well. The Resident Evil franchise has always been at the forefront of the horror genre, so it is good to see its hallmark game still getting recognition almost 20 years later.
