Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin Receives Trailer

Many of you have likely played Dark Souls II by now. However, you probably haven’t seen much of the current-gen port of Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin. Luckily, we have you covered!

Over on our YouTube channel, we’ve got a trailer directly from Bandai Namco Games America, Inc. In the trailer, you can see the enhanced visuals, performance, and gameplay. Fans of Dark Souls II may also notice that some enemy locations have been changed as well. You can check out the trailer below.

In addition to the aforementioned enhancements, the upcoming re-release will also include the new Forlorn invader, an increase in the amount of online players, all three released DLC expansions, and other gameplay improvements.

From Software’s upgraded Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin will release on April 7th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. On the same day, a last-gen version for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 will also be released with the gameplay enhancements and DLC included.

My Opinion:

I’ve never been able to get into the Dark Souls series like some of my friends, and I sucked at Demon’s Souls too; however, I did enjoy Dark Souls II, and I will definitely be checking out this port. Although most of my time may already be taken if Bloodborne, which releases a couple weeks earlier, is as good as I think it will be.
