Square Enix has confirmed that Episode 2 of Life is Strange has been delayed.
Update:
Speaking from their Facebook page, a representative for Life is Strange has spoke out regarding the delay.
“We’ve been asked to clear up the question of when Episode 2 will be released since there have been rumors of a delay. We would like to assure everyone that development is on track and we’re looking to release it before the end of March.”
It appears that there won’t be much of a delay at all then, which is great for people who eagerly await the second episode in this series. If we learn of an exact release date we’ll be sure to pass the information along!
Original Story:
Dontnod Entertainment, the development team behind the episodic series, originally stated that each episode would release exactly six weeks apart. We do not have a release date for Episode 2 at this time.

Stay tuned to MONG for more details on when Episode 2 of Life is Strange will be released. In the meantime, go check out what we thought of Episode 1 in our review. You can also catch a spoiler-filled discussion on the story in our spoilercast.
My Opinion:
I have never taken part in an episodic game like this. The only game I’ve played that had episodes was Telltale’s The Walking Dead, and I waited to experience that when all episodes were released. Since we don’t know how long the delay is, it’s hard to say what sort of impact it’ll have on players. Hopefully it comes sooner rather than later, because I know people would enjoy it more if the previous episode was more top of mind.

Anyone think this delay will negatively impact the experience for them? Looks like it’s still coming out in March so all is good I’d say. 🙂
