The Geekend Update: 3/14/15

Weekends are meant strictly for gaming; at least that’s what we think. Here is where you can find out all of our crazy plans for the upcoming weekend!

Courtney Osborn, Editor in Chief:

SPRING BREAK STARTS NOW! I will be playing all sorts of games this weekend!  Ori and the Blind Forest, The Evil Within: The Assignment DLC, H1Z1, and probably much more! I will be streaming them all every chance I get over on our new Twitch channel, so check it out!

Brian Hoerst, Associate Editor:

Last weekend we had to cancel the Twitch-streamed Sunday NHL 15 showdown with me, Jason and Ryan. But we’re back this weekend! Tune in at 11 a.m. ET Sunday to watch me receive a glorious beatdown. Otherwise, Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number seems a likely gaming choice for this guy.

Jordan Loeffler, Associate Editor:

It’s going to rain all weekend. I may just mimic that indoors by playing Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor. That or Flower. Really, I’m not going to commit to anything just yet.

Jesse Webster, Senior Writer:

I’m just waiting on Bloodborne. So I’m not really playing anything. I may dive into Resident Evil Revelations 2 Raid Mode, but I doubt it.

Lucy Pallent, Senior Writer:

I finally finished my review of Titan Attacks!; so I think I’ll continue to try and beat Fire Emblem: Awakening and play some more Shovel Knight. Also, if you hear any crying that’s me crying over the fact that Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. doesn’t come out in the UK before May.

Aaron Dobbe, Associate Writer:

Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. released yesterday, and boy am I going to be playing that nonstop.

Audrey Lips, Associate Writer:

I won’t be gaming much because I’m heading down to Panama City, Florida for my final Spring Break! I might hop on Runescape in between flights or at night occasionally, though.

Benjamin Luthi, Associate Writer:

I’ve been playing a lot of old-school Mario lately, so that will continue while I watch as many college basketball games as possible.

Matt Southwell, Associate Writer:

After completing my review of Screamride, I think it is time to give Ori and the Blind Forest a look. I hear it’s pretty good! Devil May Cry Definitive Edition will also occupy a spot on my weekend.

What games are you playing this weekend?
