Yoshi’s Woolly World Release Window Pushed Back

During today’s Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced that Yoshi’s Woolly World will be coming to stores this fall.  Yoshi’s Woolly World had previously been announced for a spring 2015 release window.

Nintendo revealed more details about Yoshi’s Woolly World, including a “classic” mode and “mellow” mode.  Classic mode will give players the challenge that they expect from other Yoshi games, while mellow mode will let players play as “Winged Yoshi”, to accommodate players of all skill levels.  Players will be able to switch between these modes at any time.

Nintendo also revealed three Yarn Yoshi amiibo during the presentation.  These amiibo differ from the previously released amiibo, as they are actually made out of yarn.  The green, blue and pink Yarn Yoshi amiibo will launch alongside Yoshi’s Woolly World this fall.

My Opinion:

I’m excited for the release of Yoshi’s Woolly World, and if it needed more time to be great, I’m all for a delay.  The Yarn Yoshi amiibo look adorable, and I’ll definitely be picking one up.
